Assistant Portfolio Manager

We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated and responsible Assistant Portfolio Manager to provide support to our portfolio management team. Your primary responsibilities are assisting Portfolio Manager to evaluate different products performance and execute strategic trades.


To excel this role, you will have experience in marketing, sales, data management skills etc


  • Conduct investment research including company, industry and macro search

  • Assist in portfolio trading execution, trading idea generation and portfolio analysis

  • Evaluate portfolio performance and adjust investment allocation accordingly

  • Provide critical and substantive support to portfolio management programs and new project implementation

  • Maintain the operating procedures in adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements

  • Assist Managers to perform portfolio review with clients, and response to client's inquiries and requests

  • Participate in month end closing and conduct timely financial analysis

  • Prepare presentations on market trend and outlook

  • Perform ad hoc assignments timely and independently




  • Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field, CFA candidate preferred

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience preferred

  • Experienced with trading HK/China equity, bonds, warrants, options and structured products

  • Familiar with asset allocation and understand the selection of fund products

  • Understand both fundamental and technical analysis of equity investment

  • SFC type 1/4/9 license holder preferred

  • Detailed-oriented, accurate and highly motivated/devoted team player

  • Strong quantitative analysis skills, programming skills a plus

  • Fluent oral and excellent written communications in Mandarin and English
